Answer this if you could

Lately I've been changing my blog videos from unlisted to public instead of just completely deleting and re uploading them for youtube. All sources I've found says that if you do that then the videos will show up in people's sub boxes when you make them go public but I'm being paranoid about it so I come to you to ask.

Back in 2011ish I was trying that and people were complaining videos weren't showing up in their sub boxes, it seems (from what I've read) that it's changed though and the newly public videos show up in sub boxes.

SO have my vids lately been showing up in your sub boxes just fine? How about this latest vid I just made public, the Amnesia video?

Thanks in advanced

  1. As far as I can see I get most of your video in my sub-box. But as I watch 99% of them on your blog I don't really look out for them on the tubes :)

  5. It's not been a problem for me. Your videos show up about a day or two after they are on your blog. If that's the intent, then it's working. They show up in my sub box just fine, along with your streaming announcement vids.

  6. If you have a private or unlisted video and then set it as a public video. It will show up on peoples sub-boxes.

  13. Youtube seems to have worked out that particular bug. I've certainly been getting your videos, both when I select your channel and in my "What to watch" section.

  14. just a thought from back in '11, maybe YouTube didn't have much success on it and updated later to finally able to place videos in sub boxes. Again just a thought, but perhaps it wasn't as effective earlier
