Regarding Japan

This is so horrible, the crap that's going on over there: earthquakes, tsunamis, possible nuclear meltdowns, and now even a freaking volcanic eruption.

Absolutely horrible, if you can I highly recommend donating some money to some donation site like this https://www.mercycorps.org/donate/japan?source=55400&gclid=CPCln5TIzKcCFYa7KgodC0M5Dw

RANT INCOMING

I'd also like to just vent my annoyance with the sheer stupidity of some people, because of facebook and all social networking crap, we're able to witness the lack of intelligence with so SO many people.

what i'm talking about is whole REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR HURDUR??? DIS IS KARMA JAPAN U DISSERRRVE DIS HURRLURRDERR

Is there even anything to say to that? do I HAVE to?

First off, if there WAS "KARMA" for pearl harbor they FREAKING GOT IT RIGHT AFTER, it's called the HIROSHIMA BOMB MORONS.

And even then, Hiroshima did NOT deserve that horrifying travesty the US did to them.

SECOND: why the PISS do people that had NOTHING to do with hiroshima deserve that?

let's get into the mentality of that..

Say some Russian guy 80 years ago killed my great grandpa or something, or murdered a family in my tree.

so 80 years later I hear that some Russian guy get's killed in some way shape or form. that has no relation to do with the murder those 80 years ago, no blood relation, doesn't even live in the same city of where it happened etc.

And I say HAHA HE DESERVED THAT FOR WHAT THAT ONE GUY DID TO MY FAMILY 80 YEARS AGO IN THAT ONE TOWN.

Can you just imagine the mentality someone would have to have to actually THINK that? how frickin mentally retarded, how stupid, how dense and low, how SCUMMY those people are!

To those people: you're some of the dumbest people on earth, and I highly pity you and your lives.

It's a rare occasion when I can actually feel good about being the person I am knowing how much better my life is not being those stupid people.

  1. the world has moved on since the events of the second world war. If we still all acted as if this was still the situation then the world would be screwed over right now. Japan are key exporters to many countries not just America and financial supporters.
People need to remember that when hurricane Katrina hit the US Japan supported the recovery operation by donating millions.
How about we act all like adults and not brain dead morons with a stupid grudge

    Rant over....

  2. It's terrible, but I suppose I'm fortunate for not having any Facebook friends posting stupid-ass comments about this whole mess. I just don't get why people don't just let things go, especially things that happened over 60 years ago. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the payback, and both Pearl Harbor and the atomic bombs were because of man, not freaking nature. This is just a random set of disasters in the span of a few days. It has nothing to do with the past, and certainly nothing to do with the whole 2012 bullcrap.

  3. My thoughts there. I mean c'mon, over 50 years from that.

But you know what? The harder they hit japanese people, the stronger they get.

Hah...I hope they can recover, I really do.

  4. @Jonathan

They will. It's really only one part of the country. The northern cities got hit pretty hard, and I don't know how Tokyo fared, but Osaka and the southern part of Japan is fine. This is probably comparable to Hurricane Katrina on the grand scale. Other countries will help and they'll rebuild and come back stronger than before.

  5. Hey Japan deserved what it got during WW2 because they tortured both captives and natives of lands they captured. Also those bombs saved many American lifes. But I do agree that the Japanese don't deserve what they are getting today.

  6. Some people are stupid. I try to ignore them, it's how I stay sane.

  7. Austin, I salute you for this.

To many times people justify natural disasters for things that happened in the past.

And it is fact, Japan is still feeling the effects of the Atomic Bombs. We are not.

  8. @Jonathan and @A GODDAMN SPLOICER

I believe they will recover to. They are receiving help from countries like the U.S just like the U.S received help from the other countries during Hurricane Katrina. In fact, to look at the situation optimistically, these disasters are slowly bringing the world more together. Alliances can be made and improved through the helpings of one country to another.

  10. HOLY CRAP, THEY EVEN GOT A FRICKING VOLCANO?! WTF!
I would have thought that THE BIGGEST EARTHQUAKE IN RECORDED HISTORY + A HUGE ASS TSUNAMI + POTENTIAL NUCLEAR PLANT FAILINGS WOULD BE ENOUGH, BUT NOOOOOO! THEY HAD TO GET A FRICKING VOLCANO TO ERUPT. Jeez.

  11. @Zach it wasn't the bigger ever recorded earthquake buts it's 7th biggest one in history either way just a really really bad day.

  12. Japan is in my mind the greatest victory of warfare in recorded history. Not because of the technology and heroism, but because racial and cultural prejudice on both sides was overcome such that the US didn't take over ruling the country. Now we are both 1st world countries with friendly relations and cultures which are enamored with each other. Its what warfare should be.

  13. I pray for japan and every other poor soul on this planet...
Devastation coming from the planet, Nature, Disease... And there are people to busy fighting amongst each other for valuables and power...

  14. You could also say the US did not deserve the horrifying travesty that Japan did to us during Pearl Harbor but no one ever thinks of that huh?
Not saying Japan deserves this or anything I do think it is very sad and tragic and we should do all we can to help.

  15. I know a few people at school that would say that.
God the people in my school and heck the people in this country piss me off so much. Most people rarely rationalize/think logically (or actually think in the first place), make ludicrous comparisons, and put themselves on a pedestal for being "the best country in the world" and just feeding the mass of ego and self-absorption.

And just to make this not completely sound like an "Anti-American" rant, this country is alright, it's the people that piss me off.

And lastly, I may be an atheist and not believe in any of that Christian crap, but God be with you Japan.

  16. Everything you said was so true. In fact, it was so completely true I only have one thing to add.

    Amen, Austin. Amen.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Fact of the matter is - there are millions of stupid people in the world that have a voice full of empty ignorance. Most are here in the US. Thanks to the Internet, their voices can be heard.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wait...they're getting a volcanic eruption now? Are you kidding me? To think Mama Nature hasn't screwed them over enough times already.

I'm actually fortunate I don't know of such idiotic people, considering I rarely befriend just anyone to begin with. Although I have seen a few journals from other people complaining about this. Personally, I would have tore them a new one.

The stupidity, I can only surmise, comes with the frequent internet exposure to equally braindead brethren where they think its cool and hip to be a callous jerk in laugh in the face of thousands of people dying in the wake of a natural disaster they couldn't even predict coming until it was right there happening. The lack of empathy for human suffering is outrageous.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I feel you Austin. I just wish that people can get over the bad things Japan did in the past because Japan HAS changed. Japan also helps out alot of other countries too.

  20. As stated in my rant video -

Death Toll in Pearl Harbor : 2,000 including Japanese

Death Toll in Nagasaki and Hiroshima bombings - 200,000

Also I'm sick of seeing people complain that their anime or manga won't be released on time for this. What the fuck, are your material possessions that more important than the lives of thousands over there?

  21. No more Japan....no more complete life....

  22. The irony of the Information Age is that it gives new respectability to uninformed opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yeah, a lot of people are idiots.

And when it come to war stuff in the past, I don't hold anyone accountable except for the person that actually did whatever it was they did. I don't hold it against their grandkids or anyone else in their 'race' or 'country'.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I had a friend of over 10 years talk to me yesterday saying how worried HE was that the release dates for games that he has been following may have been pushed back.

I died a little inside at how he reacted to the situation. Even though he wasn't dissing the Japanese or such, his mindset on this is truly disgusting in my opinion.

  25. Truth was heavily laid down in this post.

    Fucking ignorant people.

    ReplyDelete
  26. What moron would relate negative karma of the past to events now? That's absolutely retarded...

However, I must disagree that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were "travesties". THAT was karma in action. Don't talk out yer ass from high atop a pedestal when you don't know the facts and statistics. More people were killed by Japanese katanas during the course of WW2 and the Japanese occupation of China than were killed by the Nuclear attacks. In turn, more people were killed by American Napalm than the bombs as well, so they aren't truly our greatest offense to the Japanese people. Japanese cruelty during WW2 followed close behind the cruelty of Nazi Germany, and unlike the Germans(4%; you'll get that in a sec), the Japanese had a POW Mortality rate of 25-27%. And I could go on and on about the terrible things they did to the Chinese, but I digress; the Japanese of WW2 deserved the nukings; absolutely and completely. You shouldn't attack someone stronger than you and expect anything less than total destruction. However...

That was then, and this is now. We are literally talking about two ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PEOPLES! The fanatical Japanese citizen of the 1930s and 40s is a fossil from a different era than the technology driven peoples of today; and to blame the people of today for the crimes of the past is the height of folly! As no man is responsible for the crimes of his father, so too can a people not be blamed for the acts of their forefathers...

And now for this fan to hide in a corner -_-... Still loving all you do, and thankful you've said anything at all... Ugh...

  27. I know how you feel!
I was pissed for several hours when I read those fucking comments on facebook.

  29. Luckily, as ill-mannered as some people are, the Japanese are well-disciplined enough and are trying their best to recover at the shortest time..

I have to say, if such degree of disaster had happened somewhere else instead, I bet that few countries have the ability not to succumb..

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sadly, most of this arrogance is fueled by the education system. Through school, we are taught the 'safe' history, avoiding topics such as Vietnam and the cruelties that the U.S. has caused throughout the world.

If everyone would educate themselves a little and see that America is not the perfect and all-powerful nation that we're being told everyday, we could reach out and help those who we may have hurt or who may have hurt us in the past.

Wouldn't it hurt to hear them say these things to us if the same happened on the West coast or in the South or even the East Coast? 'Oh the US deserved it, they dropped atomic bombs on us nearly half a century ago'. They are humans just like we are, we have no right to deny them assistance.

    Forgive, but never forget.

  32. I wish I could donate more.

Those poor people over in Japan; Innocent, hardworking people who've done nothing but attempt to live their lives, ruined by numerous disasters, and now struggling to rebuild, while a group of conceited, ignorant americans say that they don't want to help due to Pearl Harbor.

*facepalm* And just when you thought that -those people- (you know the ones.) couldn't get any more idiotic then they already were.

So yeah. If I wasn't poor as hell, I would donate more to this. D:

    ReplyDelete
  33. I really don't know what to say. I mean it brings me to tears that some one who practically cheers this on could come from the us. Though I'm not surprised that there are many of those people in this nation who are like that, I am however extremely offended that they have the nerve to say anything at all. It is also proper to say that. They are assholes and can burn in hell. (Starting rant now) What the fuck is wrong with these stupid dumb ass mother fuckers. If there going to be that gay to even open their mouths about it then they can shove a cock in it, and maybe that would shut them the hell up. (End rant and takes a deep breath) Forgive me I am not much of a violent person to begin with and in turn hate seeing others come to harm, but but when people of my own country mock the deaths of thousands. It drives me over the edge.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The internet is full of stupid people. I bet you anything those people were doing it just to get a rise out of others. Still makes me want to strangle someone.

It could also be something called national pride (brought up with the school system, just like what Kristen said). Which is still stupid as all hell. I'm just glad I have no friends who are doing idiotic things such as this.

And if they really believe in karma, then they'll get theirs soon enough. :/

  35. you know just how stupid our generation is when they have absolutly no sympathy whatsoever for anything but themselves. 41. I totally agree with you, Austin. My family was watching news coverage of this while having dinner and my mom brings up my cousin who is ranting online about how they deserve it and other junk. Then, my dad brings up that he is in the military, and that's the mentality of most of the military now. Then I brought up the atomic bombs and the Treaty of San Francisco.

It's just a shame that people believe that someone has to pay for what ancestors have done. Its also a shame that no matter what we go through to clear it up, there's always the slightest remnant of that mistake in our minds that can never go away.

  42. @Anthony. I saw that video before. This is coming from being a Roman Catholic myself:

  43. OK, one, nice post, and two, WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE! THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ARE INJURED AND KILLED AND ALL PEOPLE CAN THINK ABOUT IS KARMA?! I MEAN ARE THESE PEOPLE SERIOUS!? You're EXACTLY right Kilplix. It's JUST like that 80 year murder thing where it's like, some guy kills your, ohh I don't know, Grandma. That man is dead, you're older, and you hear of how the killers' next of kin gets killed in a car accident. So you say "OHHH YOU DESERVE THAT FOR KILLING MY GRANDMA THAT ONE TIME!" NO!!! HE didn't deserve it, HE didn't do jack S&%$ to your family, but you're still an ignorant prick, because of something that happened a long time ago. LET IT GO! I mean sure yeah, he killed your grandma, but she's gone. She's in a better place. DON'T be a dou(he. Well anyway, I fully agree with you Kilplix, I really do.

  47. Do you know what is even worse about this? people are putting tags saying things like "Japan Earthquake", "Chernobyl 2.0/Japan Nuclear Accidents", and "Japan 8.9" in their stupid-ass Call of Duty videos/any gaming videos. These people must be really fucking desperate for views. These people need to get that shit out of their tags.
