  6. I might upgrade my CPU this month. There's this 6 core AMD CPU that I've had my eye on and I could seriously use an upgrade as you know, haha.

  9. So you craft this sob story about how you’re unemployed and need a root canal, we donate over $1,000 to your cause, then you end up getting it pulled for a measly $100?

Now you just spent several hundred dollars to build a new PC? To replace your old PC which wasn’t shabby at all?

    Wow…

Watch you delete this comment like a coward so nobody else sees it.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Will you record some BFBC2 on hd now?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Oh hey, same cooling fan.

...It was annoying to put on. :I

    ReplyDelete
  12. *whistles* What did the final bill come out at?

    ReplyDelete
  13. @ chronotrigger3

I sold my current PC, I used that money to build my new PC, costing me hardly a thing.

    Read moar moron.

Watch you delete this comment like a coward so nobody else sees how stupid you are. ;o

  14. I did read, in fact a quick google investigation reveals you sold it for $800 to your brother. Your newegg.com links add up to $1,150 and that doesn’t include shipping. That’s at least $350+ you just spent on a new PC.

I can’t believe people don’t see through you. You collect over a grand in donations for a root canal because you’re unemployed and people feel bad. You then spend only $100 of it for your actual dental work and two months later you magically have $350+ of fun cash for a PC upgrade? Hmmmmmm……

  15. @chronotigger3 U mad?

And you sound familiar, I wonder why...... and a new account too. Created just today for this very purpose..... I wonder why?

  16. @chronotrigger3

I thumbs you up. That's all I'll say.

  17. I honestly dont care if Austin takes money from his subs, genius if you ask me but I laughed when I read that. Now I'm going to have a great day, thanks internet!

  18. Well, it says "Donate Kilplix a coin or two, he's poor, jobless and is 700 bucks in debt". Maybe he ask for a loan or something.

Even though, before the thingy with his tooth, he already had some money from previous donations. You want more videos from him? He has to upgrade his PC.

...But more than one thousand dollars in a PC. MAN! I'd never show how I build it, it's a bitchslap too your own poverty D:

    ReplyDelete
  19. wow, I can't believe the last few people are against Kilplix. He had a debt, I believe he was able to pay it off by thanks to the donors, now was able to sell off his old PC to make the pain of getting a new pc less stressful. Simple as that.

But I guess people don't know how to read.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Because really, he's forcing you to give him money. He was getting donations even before the whole tooth thing, lul.

    ReplyDelete
  21. No, tate. You know for a fact I stole from them all and am laughing heartily about it right now. I'm laying in a bed full of money with those donations, lighting my cigars with hundred dollar bills and buying a new gaming PC which according to experts i'm simply unallowed to do.

Seriously though, sigh at people who have such crappy lives that they have to start telling me how to live my own crappy life. sighsigh

    ReplyDelete
  22. I'm not against him. I'm just agreeing with someone that's pointing out the obvious.

And Austin, just ignore it. Heard the phrase "don't feed the troll?". Well, your feeding it.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Austin, please make your next vid you rolling around in a shit load of dollar bills whilst laughing like a stereotypical super villain. It would make my day.

    ReplyDelete
  24. $1149.91 i wish i had that much for a real gaming computer

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Kilplix

I'd like to see that to be honest but only if you were rolling in the money naked. :D

    ReplyDelete
  26. @Jonathan
    No, I don't smoke =p

    @kevin
sure, i'll do it naked =D

    @thejon
yeah.. I wouldn't have even dreamed of doing this new build if I hadn't been offered by my brother to buy my PC, he was wanting a new PC then and now so I had to jump on the opportunity. And just to throw it out there, I used my own earned money to pay for the rest of the PC, I used the donations for bills and my debt (I only owe 300 something now!) And yes the tooth which was 170 something, not just 100.

I can't believe I'm explaining myself =/ I shouldn't even have to. ignoring trolls from now on.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Are you ignoring Tate now then? :o

    jkjk haha :)

  28. Musician ask for money to be donated all the time. Many unsigned bands. SO I don't see why this is any different. Austin is pretty much an unsigned entertainer. YouTube (and this blog) is free, and it costs money for the equipment (computers, cameras, games). So basically, give Austin how much you think you were entertained (if you can afford it). That's what I think.

    ReplyDelete
  29. @chronotrigger3: Fun cash? You're kidding right? This is Kilplixism, not Criken2. Austin isn't some spoilt 16 year old kid living comfy with his parents and getting paid by the thousands by some shitty gaming company for making shitty "comedy" videos off of shitty pseudo-memes, who obviously has no real friends or any form of social life whatsoever evidenced by the fact that he'd rather spend his time answering shitty "questions" on Formspring instead of attempting to make a non-shitty video every 9001 years. Just sayin'.

    Also - who's "we"?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I have a PC i recently built and I was wondering if you would give an opinion about it Austin.

  31. This turned into a flame war of sorts o_o
If I could somehow get the money, I'd love to build my own PC. Though, again, being 14, it's not exactly something that will happen anytime soon. Now then, if the GTX560 Ti really allows you to get 100 FPS in BC2 while recording (half size, I assume) then dang, I can't imagine those beasts in SLI. I slightly question the point of buying an LGA 1366 CPU now instead of a Sandy Bridge one, like the i7 2600K or i5 2500K (though understandable, since the 2600K is more costly).
@ineonammo That build is godly, though I would've gone for an Intel CPU. Not just because I prefer Intel over AMD, but because once you get into the $200 range, Intel dominates the CPU market, and you definitely had the money for it, since you have 2 6990's (Insane BTW, how much FPS do you get in games? o_O). But that is just my personal opinion, of which you probably don't care about, since you asked for Austin's opinion. :P

    ReplyDelete
  32. Nice Kilplix. Unemployed, $365 in debt and asking for donations.

    Then buying a new PC.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hey Kilplix, I swear this is a stupid question, but do you have to like do anything besides like put a few wires and such? I need a gaming computer, thats separate from my work computer so I don't get distracted. :P

    ReplyDelete
  34. You don’t have to explain yourself to me honey. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Your over exaggeration and quick reaction of labeling me a troll leads me to believe your completely missed the point. Nobody said you were rolling in cash. Nobody said you were stealing.

I pointed out that you cry this sob story about being in unemployed and in debt, your fans gave your money out of compassion for your situation, and instead of taking care of your debt you blow close to $400 on a PC upgrade. People weren’t donating to you because you said “I want a new PC but am unemployed, please donate”. It’s sad that you don’t see anything morally wrong with your behavior.

Justify to your heart’s content. I miss the old Austin before all the fame went to your head and killed your conscience.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Chronotrigger3, you don't really know if he used the donation money to pay his debt. You don't know exactly what he does with any of the money he was given.

You're basing your accusations purely off speculation and not off hard facts. Because I'm sure that's what people do over the internet. Speculate.

Every donation has inherit risk. Are you donating to a real cause, will your donation be used appropriately? But the thing is, once a donation has been made, it's out of your hands how it's used.

You can't make a donation with a rule that the receiver has to use that donation for only a certain thing. Donations are gifts, and once a gift is given, it's up to the receiver what he wants to do with that gift. The giver can't dictate what he does with it.

If you've donated to him, your concerns could be legitimate, but don't throw around wild accusations without gathering evidence. That's what the police do, they gather evidence and make sure the facts are all straight before making any accusations.

If you haven't donated to him, then why do you care? It's wasn't your money you gave him.

My point is, no one knows what he does with his money, only he does, and perhaps his mother. So don't start accusing him until you know, factually, that it's exactly what he has done.

    ...Just my two bits.

  36. Yeah I agree.Im happy with the new purchase of the computer because in return we get better quality videos. which possibly means more of a selection of clips. after reading all the complaints. it just shows that people find ways to complain about something very little, because they have nothing better to do. Im supporting Austin all the way , and I will never stop with the support because his videos make me laugh including introducing me to computer gaming.

    ReplyDelete
  37. lol too much of a run on....thats an english major for you

    ReplyDelete
  38. @chronotrigger3: LOL.
    >Implying Austin can't buy a new PC
    >Implying Austin used those donations to buy a new PC
    >Implying "poor" means "ZERO CASH" since you think Austin didn't use his own money

Ahahaha, you want Kilplix videos but you don't want him to get a computer for that purpose. xD

  39. This whole blog post and comments just make me laugh. Thanks for your raging over a troll, everyone.

  41. I've been reading your blog, and you definitely are a pretty avid gamer! It's a good thing you've finally decide to post your gaming rig setup. Your pc parts are awesome. I'm a hardcore gamer like you, and I’ve upgraded my PC so I can max out the visuals without any game lagging, but I’m still looking for ways to make it even better. Are you using a Razer keyboard and mouse? I’ve been using this combo, and I love the gaming experience with it!
