My NES game list

My list of games I've played and/or beaten

X represents a beaten game

Games that never end (IE tetris, pinball etc) and I've played a lot are marked as beaten.

I don't list games that I've played for just a few minutes or so, this list is games I've spent at least a few hours playing. and sports games, they're all the same! I generally will leave them out unless I remember them specifically.

Ahh.. the NES, got it around 1987 or 1988, I was around 4, we'd already owned a gaming system before it, the Intellevision, all I remember from it was pacman and Kongo Bongo (awesome game)

To this day still, the NES is the system i've played the most games on, it will remain the greatest system of all time in my book, nearly every great game/series was born on this system. without the NES, gaming would not be what it is now, the NES saved videogames from death. analysts were predicting the age of gaming was dead because of all the crap flowing out on the atari (there were no rules or limits back then so anyone and their dog could make a crappy game on the atari and sell it).

respect the NES.

now I KNOW i'm missing quite a few games because I was younger and don't remember what all I played. also I did this list through wikipedia, and since it isn't perfect I've spotted PLENTY of missing games from the lists.

And here's the list, I'll put up the other systems in the future, the link to all of them will be on the left for quicker access

(if you don't wanna see all the games and my personal notes just scroll to the bottom to see how many games i've played and beaten total)

PROTIP: DON'T VIEW THIS WITH INTERNET EXPLORER, USE ANY OTHER WEB BROWSER BUT THAT POS

  2. Interesting. You should post more stuff like this. Reading the Life Force comment reminded me of what you said about your dad. Hope he's doing a lot better.

  10. Glad to see somebody else who has beaten the Contra games and didn't cry. I'm not sure why they're so legendary for difficulty. Hard, yes, but once you learn to just spam the fire button whenever you're running it makes it a lot easier. My Dad and I frequently run through both games and very rarely continue. Ninja Gaiden was a game that made me rage so hard but I never regret beating it. The ending cutscene hit me harder than most games today.

And oh gee, I wonder why you never beat Battletoads?
