I don't want to jinx myself or anything but for the past 3 months or so I've been following up like once a month on this job I REALLY wanted, every month i'd email the guy and asked the status, since he'd always say "WE'RE MOVIN TO A NEW OFFICE I'LL GET BACK TO YOU"
so finally I decided I'd give it one last try, I had no real hope for it but I figured why not.
so I email the guy the other night, and the next day he says "Persistence pays off, you win."
as of now I had just agreed to all the legal mumbo jumbo involved and he's going to get back to me, i'm waiting anxiously for a reply.
but I was stunned, I really couldn't believe it.
The job is transcribing, for those who don't know what that job involves is typing out audio files, in this case company meetings, they record the meeting and send me the audio file, I type the entire meeting out.
This is the absolute perfect job right now because I've been planning to move to florida by the end of the year, and I needed a job that I could have regardless of where I lived.
again i'm shocked that it worked, that emailing him regularly actually paid off. I really hope this is a long term job and that I can finally move out and start a life of my own. I am just ecstatic.
Finally things may be looking up

Random Favorite Songs #3
Best thing that came from Dragon Ball Kai was the new theme song
And why not since we're on DBZ, I recently got a PS2 emulator and have been playing old favorites, Budokai 3 being one of them, and I must say this again, this is the definitive best DBZ game ever to grace mankind, I adore this game and I wish I could hug it at night before bed like a teddy bear.
Here's my fav tracks from the game, addictive and awesome:

Random Favorite Song #2
I was mowing lawns today at the post office (this is like my 4th year doing so, pretty good summer job with nice pay) and was listening to my MP3 player.
came across this track and forgot about it, have been listening to it on repeat all night.
It's a FF3 remix from an official Square album called LOVE SQ

Memorable Moments in Gaming: Stalker is friggin scary
Decided to make a new series: Memorable Moments in Gaming, this way I can upload super old BF2 crap that have still yet to be shared, along with plenty of other little clips in games.
Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl is one of the most atmospheric games ever made, it gets down right scary, if I had my mic on in this clip you'd have heard me screaming my head off.

Sigh.. Come on guys
I just caught wind that people are harassing the crap out of the latest dumb comment of the moment guy.
seriously people?
The dumb comments are something you look at and have a good chuckle, you don't go out of your freaking way to heckle the person, that's just crap.
I am dissapoint
From now on i'm going to have to keep the names anonymous of the dumb comments since some people just can't help themselves.

My PS2 Game List
I'VE NOTICED PEOPLE IN COMMENTS THINKING THAT I ACTUALLY OWN ALL OF THE GAMES I LIST, THIS IS INCORRECT, THE LIST IS SIMPLY A LIST OF GAMES I'VE PLAYED AND BEATEN, WHILE I OWN QUITE A FEW GAMES I DO NOT OWN ALL OF THEM LISTED.
My list of games I've played and/or beaten
X represents a beaten game
Games that never end (IE tetris, pinball etc) and I've played a lot are marked as beaten.
I don't list games that I've played for just a few minutes or so, this list is games I've spent at least a few hours playing. and sports games, they're all the same! I generally will leave them out unless I remember them specifically.
now I KNOW i'm missing quite a few games because I was younger and don't remember what all I played. also I did this list through wikipedia, and since it isn't perfect I've spotted PLENTY of missing games from the lists.
And here's the list, I'll put up the other systems in the future, the link to all of them will be on the left for quicker access
(if you don't wanna see all the games and my personal notes just scroll to the bottom to see how many games i've played and beaten total)
THEEEE PLAYSTATION 2
The PS2 is in the top 3 favorite consoles ever for me, this system was just flat out amazing, it had countless triple A games on it. Tons of obscure ones that became cult classics, I could go on and on how great this system is, it's by far one of the best and most successful of all time.
I remember seeing one for demo play at a store, it had dynasty warriors 2 on it, the game simply blew my mind, I was completely and utterly hooked, addicted and I HAD to have it.
I saved up money for months, and finally bought one that I have to this day. I thank thee PS2 for giving me some of the most amazing, fun brilliant games ever.
PROTIP: DON'T VIEW THIS WITH INTERNET EXPLORER, USE ANY OTHER WEB BROWSER BUT THAT POS

Fun Facts about Kilplix #3
I LOVE video game music and remixes of video game music!
It's the music I listen to most out of everything.
if you live under a rock and don't know, there's a website called ocremix.org which has a kabijigalilion remixes.
years ago I went through the entire database downloading every track that I liked.
And since then i've kept up with Dling all the latest submissions that catch my fancy.
that isn't the only site i've gotten my music from of course, i've dl'd tons from other sources such as torrents and what not.
I also am obsessed with chiptune music, it seems like i've said this before in an earlier post but yeah, chiptune music is freaking epic, I love this site called http://www.keygenjukebox.com/ which has a butt ton of chiptune music.
Probably since I grew up on the NES, chiptune music is just awesome to me.
my video game folder alone has around 4000 tracks.
If you've noticed, I usually use remix's in my KILPLIX KILL SPREE portions in the BC2 vids and gore montages.
I thought of this post today because Tate did an awesome remix of CHEETAHMEN, which has like one of the best tracks in gaming history (which makes up for how horrible the game is):
I'll try and throw up remixes to share that I love to death on occasion from now on.
