TO BE MORE SPECIFIC ON THE FORUMS

After reading some retards comment (which I highly considered for a dumb comment of the moment) saying like
"Nice to see all of the fame you've attained hasn't turned you into a raging egomaniac... Oh wait."

I guess i'll have to spell it out

the forums would have sections discussing videos, upcoming videos, possible videos/custom campaigns.

Then there'd be a video game section, a community board where you can talk about anything.

ETCETERA ETCETERA

stuff like that.

  2. Aww, what's the matter-- Did I hit a nerve or something there, big guy?

  3. No John, you only frustrate him with your stupidity, is all. How does a forum for the fans make him into a raging egomaniac?

  4. Remember kids, making a forum so that it will be easier for Kilplix and fans to talk with each other is nothing more than blatant egomania.

  5. Meh, no disrespect but I'm not really a fan of the idea... As much as I love your videos, I don't really see what unfulfilled purpose a forum would serve.

  6. And so cometh the butthurt fanboys.

  7. I would say no though. It will only give raging egomaniacs, like John Tennek, more ways to rage on you.

  8. You know what's annoying? When people say something about something, but don't explain WHY they say it.

"Should I get this?" "NO! DON'T!" Uh... why not explain why they shouldn't get it?

So, I'll give John the benefit of the doubt. Could you please explain why him creating a forum makes him a raging egomaniac? I'm sure we'd all like to hear your reasoning.

  9. a forum would be awesome, I imagine it might get a bunch of trolls though...

  10. I think it'd be a nifty idea. Only thing is, I could see you enjoying it for a couple weeks, and then getting a little annoyed with it, eventually turning it into a bigger gathering place for the Kilplix Fangroup where you don't really pay attention to it, rather than let them know what's up.

I mean, it seems like it'd be cool for the fans, but a populated forum can lead to some stressful work.

    Also- CAPTCHA IS TATER LOL

  11. Ah, fights on the internet.

  12. I Actually think it wont work, simply do to the fact it wont do any good, you already inform us what we need to know by the blog, steam and twitter, addin the forum would just be triple postin. Not to mention it would turn into either a huge chat or a HUGE play whit ME!!!! Request Forum

  13. And another thing, dont post stupid comments whit stupid insults then get all defensive when ppl discuss it, it just sad ...

  14. well... at least he knows how to spell, right?

  15. Yes, and No for the forums.

Yes for the ideas that you have already posted. No because, well, Forums usually attract trolls and it seems you already have one with your blog.

Hmmm. Does anyone use firefox as their browser? I can't seem to sign in. (using IE atm)

  17. What id love to see and do in your forums is what you did with your other friends.
Meet other gamers and play with them and have a great time.

  18. I haven't voted for the forums yet... I think it might be neat for a little bit.. But as everyone else has already stated, it'd probably end up to be one big troll fest and it would probably only cause annoyance :/ But, hey, if you wanna do it, go for it, and I'll participate :)

  19. Advantages of a forum: -Fans can talk and mingle
    -Fun contest possibilities (I guess)
    - You get bit more involved with the fans

    Disadvantages or a forum:
    -Trolls, Trolls Everywhere.
-"Play with me" request will increase no doubt.
    -picking Mods and such.

  20. I agree with a lot, if it was DONE RIGHT then it would be a good thing, but as many of you've said, it could turn into big mass of stupid.

I'd have to get a lot of responsible mods and what not, and of course I wouldn't ignore it, I'd even post there.

But after hearing what a lot have said i'm more leaning towards not a good idea as well, I think the comment sections >>HERE<< can make some good discussions

  21. I'm not really big on the idea. Your group already has so much it'd be hard to cover/visit everything. I already visit the three blogs, livestream, and youtube. That's not even the stuff I do on the internet/computer that doesn't involve your group. And then the stuff I'm not a part of, Twitter and the Steam group.

You've got enough going for you, don't stretch yourself out any thinner. It's hard enough to keep up and be involved as it is right now.

  22. Nay. It's fun as it is right now >;

  23. I'm actually leaning more towards "yes" when it comes to a forum. I've had a lot of fun from frequenting the Steam group and group chatroom, I've met loads of great people with good attitudes who I can call my friends now (and also many trolls, but thats the interwebs for ya! You can never avoid them).

I believe there ARE enough like-minded people in this community to MAKE it work if you choose to create a forum, so long as it serves as a forum for people who wanna hang out and meet new friends who like to game and have similar interests.

Im in regardless of your decision :D

  24. I can see how it might lead to a bit of chaos, but if you start Small, nice & easy. there shouldn't be to much a problem.
Good Luck with it Though :)

  25. Actualy, when you really think hard about it, a forum wouldn't be such a good idea, i mean i'd give examples but they have already been posted in previous comments.

    ReplyDelete
  26. You have turned into such a self-centered egoist it's not even funny.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Johns just a troll nothing more. And yes John, shockingly enough there are fans of Kilplixm on the Kilplix blog.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Some people, like our John Tennek, don't actually know what ego is. He reminds me of those jackasses who dismiss all independent films and music as "vanity projects," and equally dismisses any attempt at acknowledging or connecting with fans as "basking in adoration."

And for the record, I doubt I would post in a forum here, though I might lurk in it.

  29. "Haaaay! he be jelly fo sho!"

Anyways, maintaining the forum could be quite a hassle. Personally I wouldn't recommend it and besides you already have livestream, youtube, twitter, blog and etc. The extra forum would exhaust you eventually.

Also, the amount of beggars and trolls will possibly increase. However, it could be good material for Tate's Kilplix's comments videos.
